When we talk about lighting a subject for interview or portrait photography, a no-nonsense starting point is three-point lighting. Key light, fill light and back light are terms that are very familiar in the industry: they refer to what each light does, not what type of light you need to have.
The trick is placing and balancing these lights quickly and easily. Position them to create a natural look, with subtle shadowing and no glare. This should take no more than 2-3 minutes.
LEDGO have long produced lightweight LED lights that meet the high standards demanded by industry professionals (measured in CRI and TLCI). In doing so LEDGO are helping video producers buy highly flexible and professional lighting kits that also meet a restricted budget. Based around standard 16mm spigot mounts, ¼” 20 or even hot-shoe mounts you can easily add a LEDGO light to your existing studio or camera rig.
Added to this, LEDGO lights have the ability to mix well with DMX controllers or even go wireless with their own Wi-Fi control box and free iOS app.
LEDGO have a large range of two- and three-unit lighting kits which are light-weight, powerful and even cable free if the shoot demands it. Moreover, each kit comes with everything that’s needed including stands, gels and a carry case that keeps your lights organised and protected when travelling between shoots.
